Dr. Haideh Y. Sabet is Board Certified in Neurology, with subspecialty Board Certification in Clinical Neurophysiology. She earned her BA with Distinction in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Genetics and Development from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She completed medical school at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She trained at Georgetown University Medical Center for her internship, residency in Neurology, and fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology. She is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Georgetown and is part of the Clinical Neurophysiology lecture series there. She has published several medical articles in peer reviewed journals, and was an editor of a book published by University of Maryland.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, Mayo Clinic Alumni Association, and Mayo Clinic Preferred Response program. She has been honored by the Washingtonian magazine as a "Top Doctor" and is a long-standing recipient of the Patients' Choice award. Her philosophy is that life is a gift, and she strives to provide excellent service to each of her patients and restore them to the health that they deserve.
Outside of her neurology practice, she enjoys playing piano, and is a public speaker on issues of human rights and social justice.
